About Us

Welcome to our practice! We are glad that you found us. Our practice specializes in helping children and their families better understand mental health challenges and in providing assistance in developing successful tools and strategies to meet those challenges. Children and young adults face stressors and pressures that simply did not exist a generation ago. Many families are struggling.

As a practice, it is our mission to help build strong families and resilient children by improving mental and emotional health. We have extensive experience in working with children of all ages and their families. Our expertise includes proven treatment for many different mental health conditions, including, but not limited to, childhood anxiety and depression, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, ADHD, gender identity issues, and behaviors that often accompany the autism spectrum. We work together to tailor fit a treatment plan for each family, recognizing the unique strengths that each individual  possesses. We offer long term or short term therapy, depending on the needs and desires of each family.

Our practice utilizes evidence based treatments. We make use of a variety of modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), as well as mindfulness, play therapy and other expressive therapies. We each bring a unique clinical expertise to our practice. We believe in collaboration and with parental permission, will consult with other professionals in the child’s life to help ensure that each family and child is receiving the maximum benefit from their experience with us.

Recognizing that your child or family could benefit from professional counseling takes courage, insight, and strength. We applaud your decision to seek support, and welcome you to explore our website and contact us with any questions you may have. We live in extraordinarily challenging times, and you are not alone in feeling anxious or overwhelmed, or simply in need of some professional expertise. We look forward to hearing from you.
